Think Positive. That is the advice that you will find in just about every self-help book and article ever written. And, while it is excellent advice, it is advice that we all know how to read, but not how to follow. Why? Because in the first place, it’s hard to think positive, especially when you are feeling down. Secondly, it is even harder to think positive when you are feeling down and you keep thinking about how to improve your situation. (This blog is aimed at helping you overcome your negative feelings, and think more positively).

No matter how much of a negative thinker you are, at some point in your life (and work) you need to be positive. Thinking positively can be a challenge for anyone, but we have some tips to help you out. Even if you don’t finish all the tasks on your to-do list, just having a positive attitude can help you improve your performance when you’re working.

“You are what you think you are.” When we meet someone for the first time, we often have a strong feeling about them before we even speak to them. This is your subconscious mind talking to you. You have an enormous and rich inner world and you are constantly communicating to yourself through your thoughts and feelings. You can have thoughts and feelings about everything you experience, and how you think and feel about things can be quite different from how you think and feel about them. You can learn to communicate to yourself in a more clear and conscious way, so your thoughts and feelings will be more in line with what you want to achieve. This is called positive thinking.

“Think positive” is one of these phrases you hear a lot, but does it really have any effect? The answer is yes; According to recent research, optimists are more likely to survive a serious illness, live longer and have a higher income. Other benefits include less susceptibility to colds and flu, fewer doctor visits and a reduced likelihood of depression. Sure, there will always be some setbacks, but a positive attitude is a powerful tool to help you overcome obstacles and reach your life goals. In fact, people with a positive outlook are frequently happier than those who are not, even though they have about the same level of success. In one study, researchers asked people to rank their level of happiness on a scale of one to five.
